Innovative in concept, exciting and challenging, TuffLuk is the latest board game that’s taking the market by storm. The last two decades have seen a predominance of trivia over numbers games and the creation of a board game consisting exclusively of numbers has been long overdue.
TuffLuk is a family board game that is both recreational and educational. What makes TuffLuk unique is that it is one of a kind in the numbers’ board games category. Playing the game requires more than the usual throw of the dice and moving of markers. It is designed to make players actively involved, compelling them to think and act independently. It is intense, funny and challenging all at the same time.
After playing TuffLuk for a while, players show a distinct sign of exuberant assertiveness and marked confidence with numbers.
TuffLuk can be played by players as young as seven. It is not a long and arduous game that requires intricate strategies in order to win. It is a straightforward enthralling numbers game. TuffLuk allows players to familiarize themselves with numbers to the extent that multiplying, dividing, adding and subtracting mentally become second nature.
The following are some of the main features of TuffLuk:
TuffLuk consists of 64 numbers, all arranged in two rows of 6 numbers, on the edges of a square board with 4 sets of 4 extra numbers on the corners of the board. It can be played by a maximum of 4 players. Each player gets 12 coloured markers and one TuffLuk token. The aim of the game is to complete or mark twelve numbers and win the game. However, unlike other number games each number has to be ‘worked out’. It is not just a matter of throwing the dice and marking the numbers. It takes a little more, such as the use of multiplication and division to ‘work out’ the required number on the game. When a player seems to be winning other players use their TuffLuk token to slow them down. There are also 'Lucky Draws' and 'Lucky Numbers' and 'Quiz Cards', which makes TuffLuk a challenging and exciting game.
